Sometimes we need a Happy-thought to get our minds off things.
If things are getting you down, fear not, a happy-thought will help you feel better.
Right!
Does it seem like the world is too sick to ever recover? Are you thinking that COVID is the least of our troubles? Do the tensions tearing at the fabric of civilized society have you feeling discouraged? There is no need to worry, just take one happy-thought from the following list, and your worries will melt away.
A Happy-Thought for every Moment to Make You Happier
The following quotes (happy thoughts) are taken from an article found on “Planet of Success.”
Life can be at times incredibly challenging. Sometimes, it knocks you down for no good reason. You may be confronted with difficulties that squash all the happiness out of you. Setbacks and failures accompany you everywhere you go. In short, there are some days where being happy simply doesn’t seem possible.
The very nice, and happy people at the “Planet of Sucess” are looking out for you. They want you to find a happy-thought that will get you through the day. Sometimes a happy-thought is hard to find. So please, take one of theirs when life is getting you down.
And, as an added bonus, I’ve included some of my own to the list. Just to really help your spirit soar when you are down.
Sarcasm alert: The real reason for this post is an article I read from Memri.org. In the article, we find that Pakistan is getting very close to the nation of Turkey. This could be a nightmare scenario for the rest of the world. Not to mention the little nation of Israel. But have no worries. Take a happy-thought with you and this will probably never happen.
Here’s a partial list from the “Planet of Success”
1. The difficulties shall pass, life will go on. (And the Nation of Turkey may soon have access to nuclear weapons.)
2. Good things will happen. (And Turkey can avoid the trouble of making their own nuclear arsenal.)
4. Everything happens for a reason, everything leads to something better. (If Turkey gets nuclear weapons, the Lord has a good reason for allowing that.)
5. You’re always best when things are the worst. (Yes, it might be scary if Turkey gets nukes, but you will be at your best at the worst of times.)
6. There’s a bright side to everything. (If Turkey gets nuclear weapons, and lights up the world in a nuclear flash, the return of Jesus could be a few moments away.)
Enough for now. Not another happy-thought.
Let’s get serious. Obviously, the last paragraph was a joke. A little levity and humor can help when things are difficult. Well, things are difficult. We can’t ignore what is developing in the Middle East. The world has spent the last few decades worrying about the Nation of Iran. Yes, they were troublesome. To say the least. Then the Syrian civil war exploded on the heels of Middle Eastern upheaval. ISIS was a gruesome offshoot of that civil war. A little-known fact is that international militaries and the U.S. CIA helped fund the gory uprising of ISIS.
But let’s not worry about those details.
Iran is clinging to power. Turkey has taken advantage and has pushed hard to regain power. They were the seat of power of one of the most powerful empires in history. The Ottoman Empire expired, by design, after World War One. Turkey plans to restore its lost power. It hopes to come back to life. Just like a beast coming back to life.
The Bible tells us a lot about beasts. And there is one that appears to come back to life.
Hmm…this could get interesting.
The Beast from the Earth
Rev. 13: 13 And the second beast performed great signs to cause even fire from heaven to come down to earth in the presence of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet had lived. 15 The second beast was permitted to give breath to the image of the first beast so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship it to be killed.…
Revelation 13:3
One of the heads of the beast appeared to be mortally wounded. But the mortal wound was healed, and the whole world marveled and followed the beast.
Revelation 13:8
And all who dwell on the earth will worship the beast–all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb who was slain.
Revelation 13:12
And this beast exercised all the authority of the first beast and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.
The Ottoman Empire suffered a mortal wound. It died. But according to the Bible, a dead beast will rise again. It will regain power in the final days before the return of Christ. The world is distracted by a virus and a recent election in the United States.
And the nation of Turkey is getting closer to their happy-thought. Nuclear weapons.
They don’t need to make the weapons. Happy-thought: We can just borrow them.
Saudi Arabia talked about doing this very same thing.
But, here’s Turkey’s happy-thought. They might get the nukes before Saudi Arabia does.
Boom!
Let me know what you think.
