Why Are People Afraid of history and a 1400-year-old Secret?
The history of the Middle East has been written, has it been taught correctly?
Warning! The most important part of this article is the YouTube video link at the bottom. Go there first for the stunning truth about Middle East history and the expansion of the Muslim faith.
Do we know the true history of Islam and the aggressive nature of their conquests throughout the region and beyond? It’s probably different than many students have been led to believe. I’ve come across a Middle Eastern scholar and historian who has devoted some time to this subject. I’ll share one of his videos below.
History; we learn from it or repeat it.
Is history about to repeat in the Middle East?
Do we really know what led to the near annihilation of Christianity in the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Western Asia centuries ago? If we don’t know how it nearly happened once will we be able to prevent it in the future?
The dusty pages of History
In the old dusty pages of the history of this region, there is a dark secret most people are not aware of. Christianity has existed in this region since its inception on the first Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But the Church’s continued existence has been challenged for all of those two thousand years.
Jewish persecution
Many of us are familiar with the Jewish persecution which drove the church out of Jerusalem and into the surrounding regions. Once away from the Jewish persecution the church prospered and became strong. Syria, Egypt, and Rome became Christian centers and the church gained more strength and began to reach around the world.
Once in Rome, the church encountered persecution at the hands of the leaders of the Roman Empire. The Coliseum of Rome and arenas in smaller cities delighted crowds eager to watch Christians killed for sport.
These things we learned about in our history lessons.
History untold
But what about much more severe persecution of which many people simply are not aware? It’s not taught accurately in our history classes.
As a prophecy student, I should state the obvious. History will repeat itself. Christian persecution has intensified and it will grow worse. The same can be said for Jewish persecution. What is different between the two groups is that the Christians are spread throughout the region but the Jewish population is mostly centered within the nation of Israel. We would like to believe there is a diplomatic solution to the civil unrest. Many in the secular world discount the persecution, preferring to see it as cultural clashes. It’s all about the religions in the area. Yes, there are many humanitarian issues, poverty abounds, and distrust among groups is centuries old. But it’s all about God or god whom they serve.
A glimpse of war
The prophet Daniel saw a little glimpse of the wars and persecution that would swallow the Middle East in the last days.
Daniel 7:7
“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.”
Daniel sees history in the future
Daniel saw a confederacy of nations. In his vision, the confederacy devastated the Middle East and the surrounding nations. The group of ten nations was a beast in his vision. The last of four God showed Daniel. Each beast came to power in the Middle East, controlled most of the area, and began to reach beyond those boundaries. The last beast, a group of ten nations will be the driving force of never-seen-before persecution pitted against Christians, Jews, and any other infidel believers who resist them. As we are seeing today, many Muslim communities will be affected. Submission to the beast is all that will be accepted. Anything less means a sentence of death. It is prophesied.
Daniel 7:15
“I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. so he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.”
In the vision, Daniel saw four empires/kingdoms. Each one would successively dominate the Middle East. Centuries passed while the vision became history. The final beast deeply troubled the prophet. It was exponentially worse than the other three.
An honest look at the Islamic expansion:
We must take an honest look at the explosion of Islam across the area which Daniel saw would be dominated by four kingdoms/empires. Christianity was very strong in the Middle East when Islam was born. What followed the birth of this new religion is stunning but ignored or lied about in history classes. With Jerusalem and many other Christian religious centers under brutal assault, the Christian nations of Europe responded with what we know of as the Crusades. Was it a brutal response to Islam? Of course, it was because Islam was brutal. It was a defense against the attempt to forge into Northern Africa and Europe from many vantage points. This history was the precursor of what will follow in the final wars. I hope those wars are far off. If not…well let’s hope they are.
Last Crusade?
Daniel 7:23
“Thus he said, the fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.”
These verses are just a few among many that lay out in sometimes graphic detail what destructions await the occupants of the world in the last series of wars the world will see.
Below is the video I referenced. It’s presented by Dr. Bill Warner from ‘Political Islam’. I already knew a little bit of what he presented but the massive scale of Muslim warfare and devastation in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe is startling. Really, I’m not exaggerating. I knew it was bad but wow. Trouble is, it will be worse the next time Islam gets their Jihad game going.
Don’t miss this video. It’s mind-blowing to see the historical revision and the brutality inflicted upon all who got in the way of this beast.
The beast will rise again.
