Saudi Arabia is putting together a confederation of peace.
Iran, on the other hand, is at war with any who stand in their way.
A confederation is forming. What role will it play in Bible prophecy–if any?
Iran and Saudi Arabia are in the midst of a fight to control the Middle East. They are fighting proxy wars against each other now. It’s probable that they will be in direct conflict eventually. This has huge implications for Bible prophecy.
This fight between the two Muslim-dominated powerhouses will not end well. One will win, and the other will not. Many prophecy students do not think the current words of war will lead to an actual military conflict. I switched around the usual idiom, ‘war-of-words’ because I think it fits the situation better. They aren’t just using their words to fight, they are using militias, soldiers, missiles, and even ISIS and Al Qaeda. Both countries are actively pushing smaller players into direct conflict with the other.

I believe direct conflict is inevitable. Among Bible prophecy proponents I am in the minority with this view. I’m comfortable with that, believing many will come to change their views in the next several years. I do not believe anyone will come over to my view, that’s an arrogant point of view which I am not suggesting at all. I think real-world scenarios will become much more clear in the next few years. The prophet Daniel wrote thousands of years ago about a message he received from an angel.
An Angel Told Him So
The angel told him in the later-years clarity would come. People would understand better what has been so hard to understand for many years.
Daniel 12:4 “But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” 12:9 “God thy way Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.” 12:10 “…None of the wicked will understand, but the wise shall understand.”
The Bible indicates there will be a confederation of ten nations when Jesus returns to fix the world’s problems. On his return, Jesus will fight against a strong military leader who stands at the control of a group of ten nations. That ‘confederation of ten nations’ as it’s referred to by many is alluded to in the Bible several times.

I think the Confederation is beginning to take shape right under our noses. We’re all fixated on tweets, a virus, riots, and race relations, Bill Gates, sex scandals, imaginary signs in the heavens, and “the little rocket man.”
Saudi Arabia has brought together over forty Islamic nations. They are united and have committed to the creation of a military alliance. With the inclusion of Pakistan, this alliance has nuclear weapons. With the addition of Turkey, they have a nation that ruled over the Ottoman Empire. I don’t know how 40 nations will become a ten-nation confederation, but Saudi Arabia has a coalition now. Iran does not. Right now, Iran is completely outgunned, unless you include Russia.

Russia is the outside force to watch
Russia is a big player in these war games, they play both sides. Many prophecy teachers insist that Russia will lead its own confederation of nations against Israel.
The Saudi nations are fighting so hard to unite they have reached out to Israel and promised peace with all Arabs if they help in the fight against Iran.

I expect that Israel will eventually take those terms. Donald Trump, if he survives the onslaught of fake news and daily controversy, wants to work the biggest deal ever.
Peace in between Israel and the Arabs in the deal he is hoping for. He may get it. I believe some form of a peace deal will result.
That peace will last for a brief moment in history, after that, all hell will break loose.
I believe we are years away from that but I think the train moving is moving and will soon come into sight.
