The nation of Turkey has grand plans for the Middle East. And those plans will have a global reach. Some people of influence, with contacts in the region, are beginning to take notice. Some are looking at the grand plans from a biblical perspective. Others, see it from a geopolitical point of view. So, whether it’s policy, politics, or prophecy, Turkey is beginning to stand out among a crowded field of troublemakers.
Ever since World War One ended, the nation of Turkey has fallen under the unwelcome control of world powers.
‘After’ the First World War, the Ottoman Empire was broken up
When the war ended for some countries in 1918-19, it did not for Turkey: the First World War led straight into the Turkish War of Independence (1919-1923). This, together with the secret wartime agreements between the British and the French to divide up the Ottoman territory amongst themselves, sealed the fall of this formerly formidable empire, and led to the creation of the Turkish republic – reduced primarily to the former empire’s Anatolian heartland – under Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The greatest empires in world history have fought battles for control of this land bridge. And in doing so, leaders of empires have led legions of warriors across blood-stained soil in Turkey’s history.
Well, the flow of blood and the thirst for power in this region isn’t over. There are more epic battles in the future. Nations will clash. Millions of people will die as leaders lose players in the global game of chess. One last empire will rise–and fall. At least two more world wars will engulf this region. Turkey’s grand plans include their, not-so-secret, desire to rule over the entire Muslim population. Their plans will cause them to reach far outside of the borders of the Middle East.
