As Turkey moves into Syria, Syrian Christians are forced to fight–again.
The Syrian civil war has lasted for years. But it’s far from over. It’s really just the beginning of a very ugly series of conflicts that will boil over from the Middle East and spread into Africa, Europe, and around the globe. No one is ready for what is coming.
In the Syrian ‘theatre of war,’ we are seeing a foreshadowing of the coming invasion of the Antichrist. Turkey has moved south into Syria. That is exactly what the future leader of the beast kingdom will do. The beast kingdom has not yet risen. But it will.
Daniel 7:25
He will speak against the Most-High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.
This verse from Daniel chapter seven describes some of the actions of the Antichrist during the seven years of tribulation. He will speak against God and oppress God’s people. Christians are God’s people. Too many Christian teachers and pastors have too often taught that the church will not experience tribulation. That is an erroneous teaching. In the Syrian civil war, Christians are experiencing the prelude to the war to end all wars.
I want to be clear.
The tribulation has not begun, it’s still years away.
And the antichrist has not appeared. It’s not President Erdogan of Turkey. I expect him to fall from power or die in the coming years.
But the warning shots have begun. We are seeing a small glimpse of the world’s dismal future.
Please don’t ignore this. God’s prophets warned those who would live in these days. As of this writing (Nov. 2019), we still have years ahead of us before the tribulation begins. But don’t wait to prepare to meet your God.
Syrian Christians Take Up Arms Against Turkish Invasion

Kurdish news service Rudaw reported on Tuesday that Syrian Christians living near the Turkish border are taking up arms to protect their villages from invading Turkish forces and their Syrian allies.
“Our villages were paradise on earth. Before ISIS coming to the region, other differently named groups attacked our region. After the situation calmed down, we were living peacefully. Life was somehow good. Now, Turkey is coming and repeating the same history. They want to return the mess and conflicts to northeast Syria,” she said.
A warning from the Syrian war front
No one should ignore what is happening in the Middle East. God’s Word has given us ample warning about the future. The armies of the Antichrist will wage an unprecedented war against all enemies. Anyone, yes anyone, standing in their way will be wiped out. Or at least they will attempt to do so. Some will survive.
An unbiased reading of the scriptures points to Christians experiencing brutal attacks at the hands of the Antichrist.
Revelation 14:12
This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
Let’s be patient and alert as we wait for the Lord to appear. If you’re not ready, then do so today. Read this if you’re not ready.
White Stone Watcher

I’ve served as a children and youth pastor for over three decades. It was a great honor and pleasure to serve the Lord in that way. It’s been my prayer, that many of them will learn of Jesus’ love and decide to commit their lives to follow Him.
I wrote the fiction story, ‘White Stone Watcher’ for them and their parents. In the story, we see a young man, and his best friend, Amanda. They face the normal challenges that today’s kids face at school. But with one huge difference.
Their challenge is twelve feet tall to be exact with an enormous set of six wings. Just like the prophet Isaiah saw in the throne room of God. He’s a Watcher, an angelic being who is still invisible to Amanda. The messenger from God is about to lead both of them on a spiritual journey. They find they can’t escape the unseen war that rages all around them. They will become key players that God will use in the battle between the Sons of Darkness and the Children of Light.
I invite you to pray about a youth that might enjoy and benefit from this story. As the world grows darker, our youth must become aware that the Lord is calling them to join the Children of Light in the fight for what is righteous. We’re all involved, whether we realize it or not. If they won’t go to church, maybe they’ll read a book about someone just like them facing challenges at school.
God is calling them.
