New Year 2022 has arrived. What’s next-Chaos-Wars-Disease?

The New year 2022 is here! Are you excited, or worried about more turmoil and chaos?

Happy New Year 2022 everyone! Let’s get ready for things to get really exciting. Last year was nothing. Get your armor on and be prepared to fight the good fight.

Finally! The year is over and we can start fresh with another one. The New year, 2022 is staring us in the face and sitting prominently on all of our calendars. We couldn’t escape it if we wanted to. And I’m sure that many of you are hoping, praying, or considering voodoo spells and hexes to try to change the trajectory from what we all just went through.

Good luck with that. 🙂 Let me know if it works. wink, wink.

But, this is a Bible prophecy site. So, keeping that prophetic focus, the Bible says there would be days like this. Oh boy, does it ever. So then, I am not surprised, and I have said as much many times. When we get weary from the daily trials of life, we reveal our unwillingness to embrace the truth. Hard times were predicted to occur every moment of every day after Adam and Eve ate some fruit on that fateful day.

The biblical prophets have preached and written a consistent storyline for nearly six thousand years. The first prophecy of note serves as a foundation stone upon which most of the successive prophecies are built upon.

As many of you know, The Lord Himself spoke the prophecy that I am referring to. Genesis 3:15.

The Fate of the Serpent Gen. 3: 14,15

14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and every beast of the field! On your belly will you go, and dust you will eat, all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Just three chapters into God’s story, we read the prophecy that is filled with hope, forgiveness, and a beautiful future. But it also contains an ominous warning of a bloody war that had begun, apparently before Adam and Eve set their eyes upon the juicy fruit.

The war began in the Spirit world. Pride and jealousy stirred in an angelic being. He was admired by the many who were inferior to him. And not content with what he had, he lusted for the position of power that he longed for. We see snippets of these things sprinkled throughout the Scriptures. From the heavenly realm to a garden where two innocent humans were created, then it grew like leprosy and ate at the flesh and soul of every human that ever walked on the earth. Except One, Jesus, the Christ.

“On Earth as it is in Heaven?”

From the heavens, then onto Earth, the war spilled out into the realm of the 3-D universe that we are all familiar with. The “multi-verse” is a phrase that has increased in popularity with the latest action-adventure movies. Never mind the fact that we only live in the one we know. Scientists believe there could be many, but in God’s story, there are at least two.

Anyway, I got distracted by fiction stories. God’s story is all too real. Whether you believe it or not. That’s one of the great aspects of Bible prophecy. Words spoken or written thousands of years in the past find fulfillment in historical events. Thus, as predicted, things are about to get really bad in the coming years.

Please, I say this respectfully, don’t believe the many Christians who expect the world will get better and better in order to prepare for the return of Jesus. That’s a very poor biblical interpretation. Jesus himself, in the Olivet Discourse, laid out the difficult path the world must travel before He returns at the end of this age.

The New Year, 2022, could be worse than the year we just experienced. Unfortunately, or honestly, I don’t believe great times and peaceful years are about to unfold.

If you thought the Covid days were bad, wait until you see what is coming. If you heard that the World Wars were bad, they were, you haven’t seen anything yet.

It will be darkest before the dawn of the new age. That’s where the world is heading.

A final battle will be waged in Heaven.

The Future War in Heaven: Revelation Twelve

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her to be nourished for 1,260 days.

7 Then a war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

8 But the dragon was not strong enough, and no longer was any place found in heaven for him and his angels.…

The war began in another realm. Rebellious Spirit beings fought a war against the Lord Almighty. They were cast down, many were put in chains, while others, took the battle to Earth, and we became the unwilling CenterPoint of the war.

Now, at this point, several millennia later, many are familiar with the story. It is one that has raged on through the centuries. Heroes and villains have faced off with one another. The best of humanity ever born, Jesus Christ, was the promised seed in the prophecy. Satan, who indwelled the serpent in those early days, is the arch-enemy whose head the Lord Jesus will crush one day. The crushing of Satan’s head didn’t happen on the cross.

No, Satan’s head is still wagging that forked tongue and spewing lies about you, me, and anyone who dares to choose to serve Jesus Christ. But no worries. The crushing is coming. God’s Word is true.

Satan will have many more days to boast of his victories. The old year of 2021 was a great year for that snake. And the devil has bigger plans in the New Year 2022.

Don’t let your guard down in the New Year 2022.

If you struggled in the Covid years, you better refresh yourself in the Lord. Become familiar with the Words of God’s prophets. You can know what’s coming. The Lord’s servants are called to know the times and the seasons. Be diligent. Know your Bible. Know your God and be ready to serve in good times and the bad.

The Whole Armor of God: Ephesians Six

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand firm.

14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.

16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;

17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
