Israel and the United Arab Emirates agreed on a peace deal.
Peace at last! Or, at least for a few minutes anyway. 🙂 The United Arab Emirates has begun the peace process with Israel. I call it a process because this is the first step. Many other steps will follow.
First, here are just a few of the many news items.
President Trump announced a historic peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
The following is a quote from the article.
“HUGE breakthrough today! Historic Peace Agreement between our two GREAT friends, Israel and the United Arab Emirates!” Trump tweeted Thursday morning.
The president, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed released a joint statement Thursday after the three spoke: “and agreed to the full normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.” The statement said that the “diplomatic breakthrough” was at “the request of President Trump,” and that Israel will “suspend declaring sovereignty over areas outlined in the President’s Vision for Peace and focus its efforts now on expanding ties with other countries in the Arab and Muslim world.”

The Bible points the reader to a time of peace and safety in the last days before the return of Christ.
The United Arab Emirates and 1 Thessalonians 5:3
While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
The above verse is Paul’s interpretation of O.T. passages such as Daniel’s and Isaiah’s prophecies. In Daniel’s extensive prophecies, we see the prophet point to some sort of agreement in the future. And this “agreement” has received a considerable amount of speculation.
Here’s that verse.
Daniel 9:27
“He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’, he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple, he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

Psalms 4:8
In peace, I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Ezekiel 34:25
“I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of savage beasts so that they may live in the wilderness and sleep in the forests in safety.”
After this “predicted” short-term peace, war will follow. It will be the worst period of World Wars the world has ever seen.
But the Lord Jesus will put a stop to it all. He will return and bring peace to the planet. And it will be a very welcome sight.

The United Arab Emirates decides that Peace is a good thing
As I alluded to above, this historic moment is just the beginning. More peace deals will follow. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt will join the parade of peace. Economic, and military issues will force these and other countries to come to the table in order to make a deal. We shouldn’t be surprised if other countries move quickly to join the peace movement. There is a surprising group of nations that are big fans of President Donald Trump. And many people will be surprised to find this out. Most of the Sunni Arab nation-states want Trump to continue in office. The Obama administration pushed the Iran nuclear deal. Trump tore it apart. The Sunni nations cheered this move by Trump.
The Sunni nations, and their move toward peace, could move quickly to force peace to the forefront.
I’ve written about this in several articles. The Bible indicates we will see some form of peace during the last days. Peace, of course, is a great thing. But peace has been nearly unknown in the Middle East.

Remember, this deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel is one event of many that will follow. Keep your eyes open for more. And as you do, keep your attention on Turkey. Turkey is rapidly fulfilling their future role in these events too. That nation is going to bring the world to war. Count on it.
White Stone Watcher
Hello readers,
I have served as a children and youth pastor for over three decades. It was a great honor and pleasure to serve the Lord in that way. It has been my prayer, that many of them will learn of Jesus’ love and decide to commit their lives to follow Him.
I wrote the fiction story, ‘White Stone Watcher’ for them and their parents. In the story, we see a young man, and his best friend, Amanda. They face the normal challenges that today’s kids face at school. But with one huge difference.
Their challenge is twelve feet tall to be exact with an enormous set of six wings. Just like the prophet Isaiah saw in the throne room of God. He is a Watcher, an angelic being who is still invisible to Amanda. The messenger from God is about to lead both on a spiritual journey. They find they cannot escape the unseen war that rages all around them. They will become key players that God will use in the battle between the Sons of Darkness and the Children of Light.
I invite you to pray about a youth who might enjoy and benefit from this story. As the world grows darker, our youth must become aware that the Lord is calling them to join the Children of Light in the fight for what is righteous. We are all involved, whether we realize it or not. If they do not go to church, maybe they will read a book about someone just like them facing challenges at school.
God is calling them.
Praying for the youth, and a great awakening.
